Dehydrated Tissues - GoreZilla Sampler

This sampler contains an intro, a rough mix of the title track of the upcoming 2nd Dehydrated Tissues full length, and a previously unreleased song from the recording session for a previous split. The full length is supposed to come out this year, but the end of 2016 is approaching fast (thank fuck), so we'll see. At any rate, Bobby is giving copies of this sampler away for free until they're gone, so there's basically no reason not to get one if you like this project.

I want to draw attention to the new 'labels and distros' page that I added to the blog. I'd been meaning to do this and had the page in the works for quite a while, actually. Obviously it still needs a lot of work, but I thought putting up now in its incomplete state might motivate me to work on it more, since I just kept putting it off before.
In addition to providing music downloads, I want this blog to be a useful resource for people who want to buy physical copies of things and support labels. A single person can only keep track of so many labels and my perspective is naturally skewed toward being more aware of labels based in my own country (just look at how many US labels I have compared to any other country), so any suggestions for additional labels I could put on the list would be greatly appreciated.

A Symphony of Death Rattles

A Symphony of Death Rattles is probably the best goregrind comp that's come out in years. It's the only recent one I can think of that I particularly care about anyway, although Craniophagus Parasiticus Records has an upcoming C6 mini-comp that I suspect is going to be a good one.
The majority of the artists' tracks from this tape can be found on Bandcamp (with Patisserie, Meatus, and Hyperemesis being the sole exceptions, I think. Luckily, I was able to find a rip of their tracks on Soulseek), but I haven't seen the full compilation posted anywhere yet. So I thought I'd post it for the sake of convenience, and just to get this music out there. Just about every band on here positively kills it. I've never been too fond of Hyperemesis or Meatus honestly, but the Hyperemesis tracks on this tape sound good at least. The highlight for me is probably Meatal Ulcer. Previously I'd only heard the Meatal Ulcer / Hydropneumothorax split and I wasn't impressed by it, but their contribution here changed my mind about the project completely.

Bacteriophagia - A Complete Discography of Diseased Discharges

As you probably already know, Bacteriophagia is the project that existed for just a brief time before becoming Vomitoma. As suggested by the title, this compilation collects everything Styv recorded for Bacteriophagia. The insert regrettably gives no indication of which releases the tracks came from, so with the help of Discogs I put together my own (admittedly imperfect) breakdown of the tracks.

Tracks 1-8 are from the Parasitic Teratoma
Tracks 9-21 are from An Orgy of Disease (17 and 19 also appeared on the Sarcoma Fermentation / Bacteriophagia split)
Tracks 22-26 are from the Bacteriophagia / Psychotic Homicidal Dismemberment split tape (22 also appeared on the Sarcoma Fermentation / Bacteriophagia split. 23 and 25 also appeared on the Bacteriophagia / Malaria split)
Tracks 27-46 are from the Bacteriophagia / Malaria split tape
Tracks 47-53 are from the Sarcoma Fermentation / Bacteriophagia split tape

There's also a Urinary Dysfunction / Bacteriophagia split that seems to consist of random tracks from all the other releases. For whatever reason, some of the tracks were renamed on that split, so I can't really account for them.

This discography was put out by Running Through the Blood and has long since sold out from there, but Diabolic Force has a copy or two.

PBSWOF mass post #2

I hope you like Perforated Bowel Syndrome With Oozing Faeces because here's a lot more of it, and there's still a lot on the way too. These were all released in late April of this year.

Black Putrefaction / Grotesque Deformities

Some Black Putrefaction releases aren't too hard to find downloads for if you know where to look (a few can be found in this post, though this person has an annoying habit - or at least a habit that I find annoying - of grouping things together in self-made anthologies). For whatever reason, stuff by Grotesque Deformities is harder to find, but I was able to track down their side of this split on Soulseek. In contrast with Black Putrefaction's experimental and atmospheric take on gorenoise, Grotesque Deformities is pure bludgeon. It seems heavier and less noisecore-influenced than I'm used to hearing from Adam Rotella, but I like it. The insert for this split lists eight Grotesque Deformities tracks, but there are actually ten, the last two being untitled bonus tracks I guess.

P.S. My birthday is coming up. If anyone wants to send me gorenoise tapes or something, I totally wouldn't object

Patisserie / Meatal Ulcer / Organs Tortured

Maybe I just didn't look hard enough, but it doesn't look like anyone has posted this split for download yet and I'm surprised. The Meatal Ulcer side can be found on Bandcamp here, but the Patisserie Bandcamp is frankly pretty unorganized and poorly maintained, and Organs Tortured doesn't seem to have much of an online presence at all. But anyway, this CD really has it all: hilarious/awesome cover art and title (Ride the Wings of Tomorrow's Universal Gore Friendship) and seventeen quality goregrind tracks. Meatal Ulcer and Patisserie are among the top artists in the goregrind scene currently, and while Organs Tortured isn't nearly as well known, their side proves to be no less solid than the other two.

Postoperative Clostridial Myonecrosis of the Abdominal Wall and Ompheleocytomic Tumorpulp

It's time for another UTIFSPC double post.
Postoperative was previously posted on the formerly great and now abandoned blog Gorenoise Shit, but that link is dead now. I don't know how many of the downloads on Gorenoise Shit still work, but it might be worth your time to take a look at the blog if you haven't before. Now about the music, this release is a bit different from other UTIFSPC material that I've heard in that it consists of a single 20-minute track. It's nothing that hasn't been done before, and you might argue that it doesn't make much of a difference in how it sounds, but I think it's interesting regardless. Something that I thought was funny: I got this CD, along with a Wrong Illegal Abortion Procedure With Alarming Consequences comp that was also released by Furnace of Hate from a Discogs seller called hokutonoken in early Jaunary. Around the same time, I ordered some other stuff from a Discogs seller called FOH, who I later figured out is the person that used to run Furnace of Hate.
Tumorpulp was just released in late April, but it doesn't contain any new material. Much like Cuntpump, Bobby has no intention to record for this project ever again. This release collects the UTIFSPC tracks from previous splits with Neobatrachia and Epidemic Pain, so if you happen to be one of the (probably few) people who already has both of those splits, you can pass on this one.

Slop - Demo #1

Bobby Maggard himself referred to this project as "Dehydrated Tissues' idiot cousin," and that description works well enough for me (and I don't mean that in a bad way).
For what it's worth, I want to draw a comparison to Gangrene Discharge, since that's pretty much his main goregrind project these days. GD has a lot of quality grooves, but there's plenty of blasting and grinding going on in that project's songs as well. With Slop, groove is the sole focus and everything else is more or less stripped away. I think it sounds pretty cool. It probably helps that the demo is only about ten minutes long, so there's not enough time for the style to get old. Definitely check this out if you're into messy, groovy goregrind.

Subterranean Humanoid Colony - I Want to Be Forgotten

Here's another noise/power electronics post. This is a new artist and this demo is loud and angry. I'll let the description on Bandcamp speak for itself: "Incompetent noise for people who hate music."

Butyric Fermentation Abuse - Severe Virulent Pathogenic Bloodborne Infection From Over-exposure With A Rotting Cadaver During An Autopsy

Remember my Butyric Fermentation Abuse post a few months ago? I was certain that we'd never be hearing from that project again, but Bobby Maggard recently resurrected BFA and recorded new material for the project for the first time in four years. This 3" CDr was released in late April and there's also a six-way split involving BFA, two other Bobby Maggard projects, and three Adam Rotella projects that just came out yesterday, I believe. I'm sure it's an awesome split, I'm going to have to pick up a copy at some point.

Ritualistic Sex With Corpses - Revelations in Necro-Sodomy

Ritualistic Sex With Corpses is strange stuff. It sounds pretty similar to Glowering, only with more influences from electronic music in some of the tracks. It's definitely interesting and worth trying if you're a fan of Ray Rivera's various projects. RSWC has three releases that I know of: two that were put out by the RSSP sublabel Harmony Disruption in 2015 and one put out by Ecclesia Inferi in 2012. I don't know if that's the entirety of the project's output or not.

Helicobacter Pylordius - Precancerous Stomach Ulceration (Demo #1)

For some arbitrary reason, I like it when gorenoise projects name themselves after bacteria. My love of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa and Streptococcus Pyogenes probably has a lot to do with it, really. Helicobacter Pylordius doesn't really compare to Strepto or PA, honestly, but it's decent enough. The drums and watery vocals are the most prominent elements here, while the bass is little more than vague fuzz. But yeah, if you're looking to add some more gorenoise to your mp3 collection just for the hell of it or if you think you might see something in this particular release that I don't, there's no reason not to check it out. This was released in November of 2015 and at this point, I suspect it's safe to assume that it's the only Helicobacter Pylordius release that we're ever going to get.

Septic Autopsy / Infester

With Lymphatic Phlegm no longer active and the existence of Blasted Pancreas cut short by the death of Pedolover, the two bands on this split are about the most worthy successors to Lymphatic Phlegm's legacy of weirdly melodic pathological goregrind that there are, in my opinion. Septic Autopsy essentially sounds like LP with stronger death metal influences, while Infester is pathological gore done in Bobby Maggard's unmistakable style. I might have to say I prefer Septic Autopsy on this split, but it's really hard to choose a favorite. Septic Autopsy recently released its first full length through Lymphatic Sexual Orgy Records and continues to steadily put out splits as well. Infester hasn't released anything since a split with Gangrene Discharge a year ago, but the band is still active as far as I know.

P.S. - Actually, I should acknowledge that Birth's more recent material is high quality Lymphatic Phlegm worship as well. I forgot about them at first for some reason.

Perforated Bowel Syndrome With Oozing Faeces mass post #1

I think I mentioned previously that Perforated Bowel Syndrome With Oozing Faeces is one of Bobby Maggard's main projects these days. He's been releasing a ton of stuff with that project, and I've accumulated a ridiculous amount of PBSWOF stuff in a pretty short time. Way too much to post everything individually, but also too much for a single mass post. So I'll be doing a series of posts with five or so releases each, of which this will be the first.
I'm not about to go check every release, but I'm pretty sure just about everything PBSWOF has done is still available from RSSP, with the exception of a few Running Through the Blood releases which can be obtained through that label.
The releases in this particular post were all put out in late September 2015 by RSSP.

Jackhammer Abortion - Fetus Hording

I have to admit, I didn't have any special interest in this release initially, but Bobby threw in a copy with a package he sent me recently and I've found that I really like it. This is probably my new favorite Bob Macabre project, although Rectal Abscess Infection Discharge really does it for me as well. It seems like there have been more Bob Macabre projects getting released on RSSP than usual lately, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention before. This was just released at the end of April and limited to 50, so copies should still be available for a good while.

P.S. - I think my only complaint with this release is the spelling error in the title, actually.

Buzzov•en - Wound

This is pretty far off from the kind of stuff I normally post, but I fucking love this seven inch. I bought it at a record store about two years ago and naturally wanted to find a rip of it so that I wouldn't have to be limited to only being able to listen to the songs when I was at home and not feeling too lazy to play the record. A search revealed that it had been posted on a number of blogs before, but I found nothing but dead links. I guess download blogs are kind of a dying art these days, but for me personally, that only adds to the appeal of running this one to be honest. Anyway, I finally found a rip of this on Soulseek recently and I wanted to make it more readily available on the internet again. It's dark, angry music and I think anyone interested in music that conveys those feelings should check it out, even if they're not necessarily a big fan of sludge.

Allied Recordings shut down years ago and I guess copies of this seven inch are somewhat hard to find now. There are plenty for sale on Discogs though, and they really aren't priced too terribly compared to a lot of other underground recordings from this time period (Deche-Charge's s/t seven inch comes to mind, something that I bitterly want and wish wasn't so expensive). The tracks from this seven inch were also released as bonus tracks on the CD version of the Unwilling to Explain EP, which can likewise still be found on places like Discogs and Ebay for fairly reasonable prices.

Here is the Cuntpump post that I promised a while back. My plan originally was to post just Mutilated Menstruation Maker and A Pleasing Clitorectomy, but I found the first demo on Soulseek recently so I figured I'd share that as well. It was self-released back in 2009, so I'm sure it's virtually impossible to find at this point. I don't know if Mutilated Menstruation Maker (Suck My Guts Records, 2010) or A Pleasing Clitorectomy (Ecclesia Inferi Records, 2012) are still available from the labels that released them, but Regurgitated Stoma Stew has copies of both. They're just a dollar each and presumably very limited in quantity, so don't hesitate if you're interested in buying either release. Mutilated Menstruation Maker is probably my favorite of these three releases, but the other two are highly recommended as well. Cuntpump is RIP and will probably never be resurrected, but RSSP recently put out the last bit of unreleased Cuntpump material in the form of a split with Urachus. Urachus is a new project by Jordan Dyment of Punctured Esophagus.

Medical Malfunctions Records double post

Liquidised / Smegmacyst / Hypoprothrombinemia / Enterorrhagia
Amebic Meningoencephalitis Due to Naegleria Fowleri (MMR 133)
Biodegradable Shitscum / Hyperbilirubenemia / Pulmonary Lymphangioleiomatosis Phlegmtuberculosis / Ascaris Lumbricoides (MMR 143 / co-release with Organopexic Gorenoise)

These two splits don't have any projects in common between them, so I suppose posting them together just because they were released by the same label is a pretty arbitrary choice, but whatever. It gives me a chance to talk about how I'm sad that Medical Malfunctions Records is no more. I guess the end was announced around the end of last year, but I only found out two or three months ago, I think. The thing that makes it especially disappointing for me is that I'd been meaning to order from them for for quite a while and never did get around to it. I guess that's just what you get when you sleep on stuff. Learn from my mistakes and don't repeat them.
Anyway, these splits are both gorenoise as fuck and each features four bands. It seems like the projects on MMR 143 are all less well known than the ones on MMR 133, but both splits feature several prominent musicians. We have Carlos Dávila aka Shitter (Liquidised, Smegmacyst, Ascaris Lumbricoides), Sandip (Hypoprothrombinemia and Pulmonary...), Jason and Matt from Deep Fried Embryo/Vomiting Shit/MMR itself (who play in Hyperbilirubenemia on this split), and of course Enterorrhagia is Bobby Maggard. I think Biodegradable Shitscum might be Bobby's project as well, but I'm not sure about that.

tbh it really bothers me that the cover of the Amebic Meningoencephalitis split doesn't show the project logos in the same order as they play on the disc
