Macrophagous Gilled Larvae - The Chikila Architecture

This should be of interest to the dozen or so people that are into Macrophagous Gilled Larvae and didn't buy this when it was available. It was released on CD, presumably in very limited quantities, late-ish in the summer. It's one of the few things that Big Frog didn't make downloadable on Bandcamp or his blog, and as far as I can tell, no one else uploaded the tracks on the internet either, so... here you go.

It's brief, but it has some really good noise.

Here's an Anal Birth mass post because for some reason I don't think I've ever seen multiple albums by the dude put up in one place. This is woefully incomplete (I'm missing Chopped Up Infant Cunt and I don't even know what else), but these are the only Anal Birth recordings I've ever been able to find downloads for, so if you want more shit like this, you could order the Aborted Artifacts and Re-Animated Remnants discography tapes from Adam Rotella himself here.  I could reminisce about the first time I heard Anal Birth, but I'm too impatient to take the time, and it seems kind of unnecessary anyway.

Okay, so there are all kinds of good things going on in the Canadian grind scene right now.  Mesrine, Grotesque Organ Defilement, Archagathus, Parfumerie, you know.  And another is Six Brew Bantha (I'm not sure if there are supposed to be spaces in their name or not, so I'll just alternate).  Their second full length just got released digitally the other day, and here it is, along with their first one.  They also have a Bandcamp page that includes various splits they've done with other bands, so that would be worth checking out as well if their music appeals to you.

I think I kind of forgot about this place. I was thinking about it last night, though, and I have some ideas for things worth sharing. In the near future I'll probably either post a ton of stuff or give up and abandon this blog for good. We'll see.

Pigsty / Cativeiro

I bought this a little over two weeks ago (and I can hardly believe that much time has already passed since then, holy shit) at a music store when I was out of town.  I'd never listened to either band (though I think I'd heard of Pigsty before - I'd probably seen them on other download blogs), but I decided to get it based on the fact that it was a Bizarre Leprous Prod. release and it was just a dollar.  I could go on about my first impressions of the music and such, but I think I'd rather keep this post a little more concise.
Pigsty plays pleasingly noisy grindcore and Cativeiro plays goregrind in the typical South American style, perhaps with a little less gore and more grind than I'm used to my goregrind having.  I mean, it doesn't sound like the vocals are even pitch shifted!  I probably made it sound like I don't like it much, but that's not the case at all.  I especially like Cativeiro's second song.  There's something about the way the riff just keeps repeating that I enjoy.  So much for keeping this short.

Tumour / Cannibe

I'm doing a terrible job of keeping this blog updated so far.  But I'm not sure if anyone actually visits it, so at least I'm probably not disappointing anyone.  I'll post the rest of the interesting things from my personal collection (which is a regrettably small amount of things for the purposes of this blog) before I move on to worthwhile stuff I've downloaded from the internet.  As I have so far, I'm probably going to continue focusing on goregrind/gorenoise, but I'll post any underground music that I think deserves attention (speaking of the word underground, my blog title sucks and I need to come up with a better one).
Anyway, here's a pretty nice split I got about a month ago.  I think these two bands hardly need an introduction, so I'll just mention that I love the bad English in the title of Cannibe's side (I don't know, things like that just do it for me) and then let the music speak for itself.

Birth / Parazitozis / Pulsating Cerebral Slime split

Three bands of varying prominence within the underground goregrind scene.  It was originally put out on pro CDr by Chris of Birth and sold out right away, and I believe it will be getting re-released soon on CD by Virus Prods.

Urinary Tract Infection From Severe Pus Clots - Transuterine Non-Surgical Organ Removal

Fuck it, I'll post one thing tonight.  This is the UTIFSPC release I heard and it's probably still my favorite. I will be posting lots of Bobby Maggard-related stuff in the future.
Also, I would kill a nun (okay, not really) for a physical copy of this.  The fact that it's long sold-out and unlikely to ever turn up for sale on the internet really only makes it seem more desirable.
And so, another download blog comes into existence.  I'll start posting stuff soon, hopefully.  At least I've finally gotten this started after toying with the idea for months.
